Allengra's Flow Meters measure fluid flow through non-invasive means, using ultrasonic transducer pairs that emit and detect sound waves. The time-of-flight principle is used to calculate the flow rate of the fluid by measuring the time it takes for the sound waves to travel both upstream and downstream. The advantage of this technology is that it does not require contact with the fluid and can be used for virtually any fluid.
